Hi all,

another short mail to keep you updated. Over the last few days I've ported the 
item and inventory classes to v0.4. Now that everything compiles, I'll have to 
get the test scripts running; then I'll commit.

All those things, together with a very basic character base class are grouped 
in a module called 'rpg'. I'll also add the low-level dialogue engine class to 
that (and a few other things, like schedule stuff and the ether we've talked 
about). I hope that is okay.

Once all the lowlevel stuff is in place and working, I might move on to 
character stats and combat and also do some actual items. Together with that I 
might also start work on graphical editors for items and characters and such.

All in all, I hope to have at least the basic rpg features working by the time 
the mapengine is usable. Then we could start to integrate things and would be 
further than we were with the v0.3 engine :-).
