Completed and checked in. Now it's possible to specify a value between
-127 and +127 to darken or brighten a focused widget after the overlay
has been applied. I also added code to support overlays that are
larger than the actual widget, to allow for a border or halo effect. I
haven't tested how well that works, however.
In order to get the overlay working at all, I had to change the
underlying gfx code a bit, but I could only test the SDL1.3 backend.
So somebody should try latest guitest with SDL 1.2 and check if it
looks like the attached screenshot.
