Hi everybody :)
I finally managed to subscribe to the mailinglist (after the gnu server was
down yesterday)
So, just for the records, my name is Thorsten, I am 26 and a student of
mathematics at the university of Ilmenau/Germany. Hopefully I will be
finished by October and then probably stay at the university.
Programming C++ has been my hobby for many years and I also looked into some
other programming languages (including Fortran - IMO apart from brainfuck the
most horrible programming language).
Some time ago I started writing a map engine (using SDL of course) with the
objective of creating an RPG. But I never came even close to something
playable.

Work on the inventory/items seems interesting. Well, first I'll have to look
at the sources to get an idea where to start :)
Ciao, Thorsten
