[Adonthell-general] Some errors while doing $sudo make install

Hi all,
 I compiled the game (without a complaint) but when I went to install
it, it gave me this :-

../../../../adonthell/py-compile: Missing argument to --destdir.
make[4]: *** [install-pkgpyexecPYTHON] Error 1
make[4]: Leaving directory
`/home/shirish/games/adonthell/adonthell-build/src/py-wrappers/adonthell'
make[3]: *** [install-am] Error 2
make[3]: Leaving directory
`/home/shirish/games/adonthell/adonthell-build/src/py-wrappers/adonthell'
make[2]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory
`/home/shirish/games/adonthell/adonthell-build/src/py-wrappers'
make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/shirish/games/adonthell/adonthell-build/src'
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1

These are the instructions I was using to building the game. (I use
autotools although I have access to cmake as well.)

./autogen.sh
mkdir ../adonthell-build && cd ../adonthell-build

 ../adonthell/configure --prefix=/home/shirish/games/adonthell/
make clean
make

Till here everything is/was good. This I say as this is the last three
lines and as can be seen no complaints anywhere .

make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/shirish/games/adonthell/adonthell-build/test'
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/shirish/games/adonthell/adonthell-build/test'
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/shirish/games/adonthell/adonthell-build'

It is only when I am doing the last bit of sudo make install then I'm
getting the error.

I am attaching the whole hog from $sudo make install bit onwards.

It's possible that I did something wrong. If yes, please lemme know.
