The following are excerpts from the original communications between the SCCC and Honorary Chamber Member's Task Force Phoenix received in March 2007:
Mike & Adriana (Russell),
The members of the Sin City Chamber of Commerce put together an amazing care shipment. Ken (Barnett) and I have been going to the post office, every day, for two weeks hoping it would arrive. Today, we were busy and the boss went down to pick up the mail. He knew how we'd been anticipating the drop. So, when he realized what he had, he had a little "Sin City Mail Parade" all the way back to our building.
There were about seven of us here when we opened the boxes. It was, kind of, like Christmas. There's some amazing stuff in there. As more people showed up, it got a little crazy with guys running around with calendars and people trying to steal the T-shirts. I had to round everything up and put it under guard until I could get it divided fairly. There were some lolli-pops (Adult Candy Shoppe) in there that the guys weren't too impressed with but, when the females showed up, the lolli-pops disappeared and have not surfaced since.
Everyone has enjoyed the cookies (Terry Bradley, Color Gamut Digital Imaging.) About half gone already and I figure the rest will be gone by tomorrow afternoon. Please thank the baker(s). Please, thank everyone involved. I couldn't believe some of the great stuff you guys put in there. Your generosity went above and beyond anything we could have anticipated.
Tomorrow, we are going to take some pictures and I'm going to "issue" the stuff out.
I want everyone to know that Operation Sin City has been the best soldier support shipment we've received here. You guys did a wonderful thing and I feel like I owe you a lot for the boost in morale my guys got.
Thanks, again, to everyone. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Dear Adriana,
We got your packages! You guys are so incredibly awesome! We cannot express how great it was opening the boxes and seeing how much support you and yours have showed us. The pictures will be in the e-mail in the morning. Be on the look-out! We got the packages late in the afternoon, so we are waiting for everyone to be in the office in the morning to get some awesome pictures for you. Some of the content was taboo, but we'll just keep those to ourselves!:)- Again, thank you sooo very much. They have totally lifted our spirits. Consider your operation a complete success!

VEGAS BABY!
Spencer/Ken:
It's great to hear that the packages were received. We spent a week or two gathering the items from our members. We are so proud of you guys, you have no idea. We wish you the best and a safe and speedy return. We are very pleased everyone enjoyed what our Members helped put together. Being so far from home and not being able to partake in the freedoms you are fighting for, I am sure is very difficult at times.
Thank you to everyone at Task Force Phoenix for making this a very special project for us. We simply wanted to show you how much we admire you and repay you in a very small way for all of your sacrifices. We look forward to hearing from you and let everyone know we said THANK YOU!
Enjoy all the goodies and please send those pictures, our members will be very happy to hear from you.
Best Wishes,
Michael Russell

Michael,
Hi, We're going thru some customs inspections and I haven't been able to get the team together for a group shot. Hoping for this afternoon. As I wrote, everybody loved the stuff. The chamber members were awesome. The cookies are all gone and every male on post comes by to ask if we have any extra calendars. I wrote the two ladies who personalized their pictures to thank them. We also tried to thank Maria (the Snakebabe) but her site is filtered/blocked. Too bad. The BMW guys were awesome. That was a lot of merchandise. We'll get to everyone we can, individually, and I'll send you a note with some pictures to cover the whole operation. I am looking forward to shaking your hand in a few months. It's the best drop we've had since being here. I'm so glad we found each other. What a great boost for my soldiers.
Spencer

Some fun things were added to the Package and Ken Barnett is seen here enjoying the SCCC sense of humor. T-shirt was from the AVN AEE 2007 Show.
Two of the Beautiful Ladies from Sheri's Ranch Brothel took time to autograph calendars for Task Force Phoenix and it was a big hit with the men.
