[Alsa-xmms-user] compile errors

hi 

when trying to compile the alsaout plugin it fails
from the lines 

/bin/sh ../libtool --mode=link gcc 
-I/usr/include/xmms -I/usr/include/gtk-1.2
-I/usr/include/glib-1.2 -I/usr/lib/glib/include
-I/usr/X11R6/include -D_REENTRANT -DPLUGINDRAIN=NULL
-g -O2  -o libALSA.la -rpath /usr/lib/xmms/Output 
alsa.lo about.lo configure.lo audio.lo init.lo 
-lasound -lm -ldl -L/usr/lib -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lgtk
-lgdk -rdynamic -lgmodule -lglib -ldl -lXi -lXext
-lX11 -lm -lxmms  -lasound -lm -ldl

that gives the output of

rm -fr .libs/libALSA.la .libs/libALSA.*
.libs/libALSA.*
(cd . && $ln -s alsa.lo alsa.o)
../libtool: $ln: command not found


and the compile fails.

i'm running redhat 7.1 with gcc 2.95-3 alsa cvs of
12/08 and xmms 1.2.6-pre1.
