BUS error (core dump) compiling gworksapce 0.9.1

Hello.
I am trying to compile GWorkspace on a Ubuntu 12.04 linux
distribution, with gcc 4.4.7.
I run
  ./configure --with-inotify
then
  make
but building the service "thumbnailer" it crashes with a "Bus error":

 Creating thumbnailer.service/....

 Linking service thumbnailer ...
 Creating thumbnailer.service/Resources...
 Creating thumbnailer.service/Resources/Info-gnustep.plist...

Do anyone has an idea about how can I investigate on the problem?
