This has nothing to do with MySpell compatibility. Just being able to
"munch" a word list.

And the programs which use MySpell with no option to use Aspell are? To
the best of my knowledge that is only OpenOffice. A plugin to use Aspell
may be a better option as it will be more direct and less error prone.
Please don't assume that the a MySpell interface layer is the way to go
until you know what is involved.
