Hello! I'm trying to install aspell in conjunction with Emacs and Cygwin. Compiling aspell worked just fine, but when I try to make the English dictionary (both the .50.2 version and the .51.0 version) I get the following message after running make:

/home/martin/aspell-0.50.3/dictionaries/aspell-en-0.50-2> make
word-list-compress d < en-only.cwl | aspell --lang=en create master ./en-only.rws Error: The file "/usr/local/share/aspell/iso8859-1.dat" is not in the proper format.
make: *** [en-only.rws] Error 1

The file is there allright, and it doesn't look weird to me when I open it in Emacs. What format should it be in? Do I need to get aspell 0.51.0 or another version of the dictionary?

Thanks,
Martin Magnusson
