[Aspell-user] Carriage returns

Testing aspell 0.5x (whatever fink installs) on Mac OS X, it seems to 
have vast troubles with carriage return delimited files. It does not 
recognize a \r as a line break, and consequently the screen display is 
very mucked up. Most of the text in the file cannot be seen and I 
usually cannot see the word it's complaining about.

Is this a known problem? Any chance it could be fixed? Or does it sound 
like I might have misdiagnosed the bug?
