Hi,

David, your latest changes to doc/preview-latex.texi broke the
snapshot creation:

,----
| + ./autogen.sh
| echo @set VERSION 2006-10-20 >version.texi
| echo @set UPDATED 2006-10-20 >>version.texi
| makeinfo preview-latex.texi
| [...]/auctex/Anon-CVS/doc//preview-latex.texi:127: Prev field of node
`Installation' not pointed to.
| [...]/auctex/Anon-CVS/doc//preview-latex.texi:101: This node (Copying) has
the bad Next.
| [...]/auctex/Anon-CVS/doc//preview-latex.texi:122: Next field of node
`Introduction' not pointed to (perhaps incorrect sectioning?).
| [...]/auctex/Anon-CVS/doc//preview-latex.texi:127: This node (Installation)
has the bad Prev.
| makeinfo: Removing output file `[...]/auctex/Anon-CVS/doc/preview-latex.info'
due to errors; use --force to preserve.
| make: *** [preview-latex.info] Error 1
| Error running make in doc
`----

I'd suggest to remove all NEXT, PREVIOUS and UP pointers from all
files, as we have done for the AUCTeX manuals. But it seems that the
plain text file generation needs them?

Bye, Reiner.
