Hi,
I'm trying to configure CVS AUCTeX. On my local system CVS emacs sits at
$HOME/Software/emacs. I used the following line to configure AUCTeX:
address@hidden:~/ > ./configure --prefix=/home/jens/Software/AUCTeX \
--with-auto-dir=/home/jens/Software/AUCTeX \
--with-emacs=/home/jens/Software/emacs/bin/emacs \
--with-lispdir=/home/jens/Software/emacs/share/emacs/22.0.50/site-lisp \
--without-xemacs
configure output:
[...]
checking for emacs... /usr/bin/emacs
checking if /usr/bin/emacs is XEmacs... no
[...]
checking for glaring installation conflicts... ouch!
configure: WARNING: Conflicting previous installation in
`/usr/share/emacs/21.4/site-lisp/preview-latex/' found!
[...]
If I omit the option '--without-xemacs' configure gets the right emacs
directory and outputs no warning about conflicting installations. This
behaviour looks like a bug or do I miss something here?
