Hi,
apart from customizing AUCTeX I am wondering why basics like
dvi2ps or ps2pdf, and dvi2pdf as a combo of both, are not offered
by default after typing `C-c C-c'.
I'm aware of the fact that including something like
(defun patrick-latex-mode-hook ()
(add-to-list 'TeX-command-list
'("dvips" "dvips -Ppdf -G0 -sPAPERSIZE=a4 %s.dvi"
TeX-run-command nil t))
;; ps2pdf:
(add-to-list 'TeX-command-list
'("ps2pdf" "ps2pdf -dAutoRotatePages=/None %s.ps"
TeX-run-command nil t))
;; dvi2pdf - dvips and ps2pdf in one command; only works for small stuff:
(add-to-list 'TeX-command-list
'("dvi2pdf" "dvips -Ppdf -G0 -sPAPERSIZE=a4 %s.dvi && ps2pdf
-dAutoRotatePages=/None %s.ps" TeX-run-command nil t))
(add-hook 'LaTeX-mode-hook 'patrick-latex-mode-hook)
solves the problem.
Just an idea for future releases.
Cheers & thanks for the great work,
Patrick
