Hi Vincent,

I think that one has to be careful not to try to cram too much
information, symbolism and intended meaning into a logo, which is after
all a tiny, tiny picture. The previous version of the logo already has
the following:

1. dropped E, following the \TeX logo,
2. source code in the background, subtly hinting about the features of
Emacs and AUCTeX.

Trying to add more features (the font should signify this and that, the
E should recall Emacs, etc) would make it visually crowded IMO. A logo
does not have to be a distillation of everything about the project.
