I sometimes get bug reports on autoconf-archive macros on which I'm the most recent (hence most prominent) name in the copyright list. This may just be because I made some small fix or addition. There are other reasons why the person at the top of the list may not be the best to contact. Hence, should we add a note to the boilerplate suggesting that bug reports/patches be sent to the mailing list?
Having said that, I bet that few autoconf-archive contributors read this list (I certainly don't), so I guess it's a good idea to Cc the list of contributors too (again, bearing in mind that the main, even active, maintainer, may not have their name at the top of the list).
