I'm trying to build A2PS 4.13 on OS/2 but it is unable to guess the build
type. I have not had a problem like this before. Can anyone suggest what
is wrong?
I specifically copy OS/2 friendly versions of config.guess and config.sub
into the working directory.
Also, the following msgs occur when running autoconf and configure :-
aclocal: macro `_AC_CANONICAL_BUILD' required but not defined
aclocal: macro `_AC_CANONICAL_BUILD' required but not defined
Makefile.am:19: require version 1.4a, but have 1.4-p5
configure.in:47: warning: AC_PROG_LEX invoked multiple times
configure.in:56: warning: _AC_CANONICAL_BUILD is m4_require'd but is not
m4_defun'd
configure.in:56: warning: _AC_CANONICAL_BUILD is m4_require'd but is not
m4_defun'd
configure.in:28: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_PROG_GNU_M4
configure:11985: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_MSG_WARN
configure:3852: error: possibly undefined macro: _AC_CANONICAL_BUILD
contrib/emacs/Makefile.am:3: invalid variable `dist_lisp_LISP'
Are any of these significant?
