Perhaps Red Hat has a wrapper that tries to deduce whether to invoke
Autoconf 2.57 or Autoconf 2.13? I've seen other operating systems
do that. (I don't use Red Hat much, sorry.)
Autoconf 2.57 is kinda old. Perhaps you should simply upgrade to 2.59
yourself.
