But that would change the intended meaning of the sentence in an
unintended way.
From the original meaning:
"How automake scan configure.ac. What aclocal does, and how it works."
to a new, wrong one:
"How to scan configure.ac with the use/help of aclocal"
Maybe a full stop would be better?
"Scanning configure.ac. Using aclocal."
Or can you suggest a completely new wording which is more clear and
precise?
