Hi Michael,
Thanks for the suggestions..

Sadly no sign off it in the USB list of System Profiler (Mac OS)..   
plugged in my JTAGICE MKII (real one).. just to check and it shows in  
the list, but not the dragon.. :(

Anyone got any other suggestions? Or is it as my subject says.. dead...
