Can you tell me the exact steps (ddd commandline and menu entries) to
reproduce this?

If I activate View -> Machine Code Window, all I get there (even
initially, before starting the application) is

A syntax error in expression, near `0x270'.

My commandline is

ddd --debugger /usr/local/bin/avr-gdb foo.elf
