[avr-gcc-list] (no subject)

For all of you GCC experts out there, I apologize in advance if this is too 
obvious a
question!

I loaded the stuff per Peter's instructions.  I also loaded Volker's old stuff 
to get his
test suite along with their make files.

I can do error free builds of the first 8 test cases but the ninth includes 
some assembler
files and it barfs.  Here is the screen:

Well, I'm more than a little bewildered!  I don't know where any of this 
crts8515.o stuff
came from in the process of assembling sqrtMike.s.

Does anyone have any hints?
