I have worked in your changes into my files. It is now not necessary to
download the above. Simply download
http://combio.de/avr/avr-libc-20001125-wininstall.tar.gz
and run install.
I have written a few sentences on
http://combio.de/avr/index.html
I have repackeged to keep all binaries in the same location and
rearrange the directories a bit.
