Very few changes (other than many general GCC improvements, not specific
to AVR) - more to come in GCC 3.2: ATmega128 (as well as 8, 16, 32, 162...)
support almost certainly (upgrade to new binutils and new avr-libc will be
necessary), not sure about C++ yet (more complicated, and I can't simply
take the unofficial patches and commit them to CVS without all contributors
going through the FSF paperwork first).
