RE: [avr-gcc-list] ATmega128 page programming times

I'm running the part at 5V with a 7.73728 MHz clock. Although the data sheet does not specify which crystal setting it uses for determining the write times, but since it lists a max time setting, I assume this is the worst case (ie: 3.3V). I could be wrong though.

Normally, the programming times is highly dependent on the supply voltage.
The datasheet normally specifies at 5V, so if you're using a lower voltage, that
would explain it.

Subject: [avr-gcc-list] ATmega128 page programming times

Hello everyone,

Happy holidays!

Just in case anyone is still working, I have a question with respect to flash page programming times on the ATmega128.

My routine to perform a page erase takes 4.24 msec and a page write takes 4.2 msec. The data sheet specifies that the entire page programming operation (erase, write, lock bit programming) takes at most 4.5 msec.

Does anyone have experience with these times?
Thanks.

-Ed.
