gcc 3.3 is in the release candidate state now, so there's not a
released version for it yet.
http://www.gnu.org/software/gcc/develop.html#future
says the release is scheduled for Feb 15. You need a compiler version
from the 3.3 branch for any recent avr-libc version, so please despite
of the inofficial character of gcc 3.3, please don't use a 3.2-based
version.
avr-libc is currently (slowly) in the process of preparing for a
release that should become avr-libc 1.0. Currently, there are only
snapshots available here as well (or direct CVS access). See
http://savannah.nongnu.org/download/avr-libc/snapshots/
for snapshots. For direct CVS, please remember that you need autoconf
(v 2.1.3) and automake (v 1.4); in the snapshots mentioned above, this
step has already been performed.
