[avr-gcc-list] I can't watch the structure variables?

Hi, all！
     I use avrstudio simulate my app.I declare a structure variable"div_t 
disp". when I simulated, I can't watch this variable in watch window!! I hear 
of it work with IAR and NOT with AVR-GCC,  really??
