I responded to you on the WinAVR-users list. Are you not receiving my 
responses?

AFAIK, there is not a similar document for AVR GCC or WinAVR. The 
information in the Atmel doc will probably be useful for WinAVR/AVR GCC 
as long as the suggestions are not compiler specific.
