Gents,

there is a tiny but relevant difference between "[]" which are used for
arrays and "()" which are used for parameter passing to functions and so
on.  

So please change:

>    for (i = 0; i < 2; i++)
>      permsCheck(i);

into
>    for (i = 0; i < 2; i++)
>      permsCheck[i];

and your trouble will be gone.
