Hi,
I try to use avarice together with a JTAG ICE mk-II to in-system-debug
an atmel2561.
When starting avarice (2.6 from WinAVR-20070525) on Windows (2000+SP4)
it fails and I get "JTAG ICE: Cannot synchronise".
When using avarice (AVaRICE version 2.5, Dec 7 2006 02:12:20 (Ubuntu)
and AVaRICE version 2.6, Oct 4 2007 21:33:30 (from tarball)) on Linux
everything is fine an I'm able to in-system-debug via avr-gdb (6.6).
Logs are attached. Command line used is
./avarice -d -P atmega2561 -2 -j usb :9090
My goal is to have the same toolchain on Linux and Windows where I can
use Eclipse (3.3+CDT4.0) as IDE (also for debugging).
Is there a fix available for my problem with avarice on Windows?
What are the build dependencies for avarice on Windows so I can build
the latest version and eventually apply patches?
Thank you,
Johannes.
