Thanks Eric,

That solves the problem.. Everything works with my WinXP laptop and 
Win2k Virtual pc..  (even got another 66 bytes thanks to 4.3.0's 
optimizer..  ;) )

AvrStudio with avr-gcc -v

Now back to the problematic patch that was applied, I'm guessing it does 
solve an issue for someone. Which patch was it?
