[avr-libc-dev] hi to all !!! crc16.h

Hello to all ... I am ALele .
 I am new user of avr-gcc and will create a driver for modem with a no
standard polynomial:
 x^15 + x^14 + x^13 + x^11 + x^4 + x^2 + 1
.
I have now two driver in C for create a CRC ,but  when i see "crc16.h" i am
very happy ... only 23 ck for 8 bit... it's  the best...
I studied the APP. note 16 of dallas but ... nothing,  no information about
the logic of this beautiful procedure.

Someone have a way for study how i can create a procedure with a speed
similar crc16.h
