Details:

When using AVRDude with JTAGICEmkII, it would be nice if the programmed
device would first be reset, before starting programming.
This is really useful if the JTAG pins are also used functionally and
disabled in the firmware which is already programmed a previous time on the
device. If it is not done by the programmer, you have to manually pull the
reset down by pressing a button or something , if at all present on the
target hardware.

When using the jtagiceii.exe utility supplied with AVRStudio, pulling down
the reset can be enabled with a -R command line option. Not sure if this is
really necessary, could be done always I guess.
