Sorry, avrdude so far only works with libusb 0.1.x.
The reason for that is that libusb 1.x covers only a small subset of
the operating systems libusb 0.1.x used to cover, and both versions
are completely API incompatible.

Never trust an operating system you don't have sources for. ;-)
