Details:

Hi

Really new to all of this so don't trow stones please.

I am using gort http://gort.io to help me with development, behind the scene
it uses arvdude and I get the following error:

avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00

My board is an arduino uno and I am running linux (OpenSuse thumbelweed)

I also tried to run arvdude manually:

avrdude -p m328 -c arduino -P /dev/ttyUSB6

I get the same error:

avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00

Any pointers on how to debug this will be greatly appreciated.
