Seems like Axiom does not provide a package for working with
z-transforms (inverse transform of rational functions is my main
interest -- for discrete systems analysis). Anyone knows of a
freely available package available for that purpose?
[Might be possible to create one based on the laplace package, but
I'm not familiar enough with Axiom to do that, yet].
Another issue - is it possible to do numerical integration in Axiom?
I'm mostly interested in integrating functions that are usually
difficult for standard numerical tools (the accuracy of a CAS should
help here). I have found numericalIntegration, but can't figure out
how to use that function.
