[Axiom-mail] printing-functions like printf() ??

Is there a way to print texts and tables of data,
e.g. with a printf()-like function?

Or can output be used to do that, or other built-in functions
from axiom? (I'm using fricas.)

Would be nice to have that possibility,
otherwise it's of somewhat limnited use,
if I want to print tables of data.

Writing wrappers that call axiom and parse it's output looks
too much of a workaround.
