the - in the version number causes a problem with RPM. I suggest we put
whatever is after the - in a separate variable called RELEASE:
AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(ayttm, 0.2)
RELEASE=106
We will have to change a few source files (mainly about box and one
other place) to display VERSION-RELEASE instead of VERSION
thoughts?
