[Bayonne-devel] Help

I can't find much in the way of documentation for Bayonne. I've printed
out
and read the manual. Online I've found that the FAQs are down for some
reason. I've tried to search for resources without a lot of luck. (looks
like Bayonne is popular in Italy) I've read from the web pages that there is
sound card driver support for testing/setup. I very much need to get the
sound card process working or purchase an inexpensive card that supports
CID. My eventual system is set for a Dialogic T1 card, but I need to setup
the system on less expensive equipment. The notes for ver 1.0 suggest that
it should be possible to design/configure a system using a sound card. I
would also appreciate suggestions on inexpensive cards that support CID as
that will probably be an intermediate step between the sound card and a full
T1 card.

I know that this may be the wrong place to post such a message, but I
have
not found a forum for Bayonne users.

I can get Bayonne running and it seems to spawn about four processes
when
it does and consumes nearly all CPU time. I'm running Redhat 7.2 on a
P233MMX with 64megs (upgrading to 128). However it generates an error
message when started as a service. It is the new release 1.0. Also from the
command line the -G (GUI) switch does not appear to work. It gives a message
about running it as a service and then doesn't start. When started without
the -G switch it gives the same message and then starts.
