Everything seems poorly laid out and organized as well.
On the ArchiCAD vs Revit debate, ArchiCAD has the edge on documentation, while Revit has the edge on concept planning.
I need to know that someone in Graphisoft is aware of this and working on a fix! How hard is it to bring junior people into the BIM realm?
Everything seems poorly laid out and organized as well. But now because some of them are in different places, it is much more of a pain and time consuming.
Too many menus and such. Then I clicked on the documentation area, on various projections, made on the fly and customizable. If computing turned us into typists, it is time that we unload the burden of constraint satisfaction on those same computers, to free our own shoulders from the often unbearable weight. When I tell them that Revit is actually an Autodesk product, they go back to their experience and say that they did not like it, and is not compatible with autocad.
But now because some of them are in different places, it is much more of a pain and time consuming.
but in the near future the balance will tip.
Enjoyed my visit immensely.
Hard to explain, so look at the screenie.

They are like horses with eye-guides otherwise. But you need to know your shortcuts and have good context-menues.
After a couple of WAO, they were ready to reconsider AutoCAD and ADT. The underlying problem is, that they trust Autodesk is supplying the best for their business. How hard is it to bring junior people into the BIM realm?

It may be hard for some of us modelers to appreciate but there are many firms that have organized themselves quite successfully around the efficient use of AutoCAD drafting.
