Details:

This Option:Overwrite in the Import Text dialog is a 'blind merge', which
does not show any changes which will be done.

-> Fieldworks/Translation Editor has the Import/Compare and Merge tool, which
shows (and allows to choose) changes which will be made when importing a file,
which exists already in the project (see attached screen-shot).
