Update of bug #23902 (project bibledit):
Status: None => Ready For Test
Assigned to: None => teus
Open/Closed: Open => Closed

Follow-up Comment #4:
The editor now is in an independent window, and therefore will not be able,
in the case it becomes wide, to affect the other windows of bibledit. In
addition to that the horizontal scrollbar in the editor has been activated, so
that, in case that the editor wishes to become wide, it will only become wide
internally, and the scrollbars will allow the user to scroll through the wide
area.
I have been looking at this for a long time when the bug was still there, and
didn't know what to do about it. But since the horizintal scrollbar was added,
things became better. Only that now the scrollbar becomes visible in case that
bibledit becomes wide.
I hope that this new system, with independent and detached windows, will go a
long way in resolving your problem, or else give the tools to live with it.
It must be a bug in Gtk because I cannot think of any other cause.
