Please test! If you find bugs or have a translation update, we can release 1.6.1 soon.

We are running gentoo linux (3.14.14-gentoo x86_64)
where version 0.19 of gettext is still unstable.
The gettext stable version is 0.18   (sys-devel/gettext-0.18.3.2)

    http://packages.gentoo.org/package/sys-devel/gettext

So, I changed po/Makefile.in.in  to use v0.18

GETTEXT_MACRO_VERSION = 0.18

This builds ok, and plays a stereo movie ok.
