Maybe you are right. Some people might even use XMMS as a
backend for Bongo if they don't like the XMMS bindings. :-)
I changed this so that it is never on by default.
Maybe we should somehow tell the user that it _can_ be
enabled if we find XMMS or BMP on their system? I can't
think of a good and simple way to disable such a message,
however, so I won't add one.
I guess we can write about it in the manual. I actually
started working on a draft for a manual, by the way.
Romain, are you still interested in working on the manual?
I can post what I have so far if you want. (I've only
started writing about buffers.)
