Crossfading requires mixing. Since Bongo does not decode files, we
need external support. Unfortunately, I think it's hopeless finding
good crossfading support in external players. That leaves audio mixing
at the device level (e.g. ALSA).
Suppose backends know how to use the right device, I guess the trick
is to let Bongo play two tracks at once while not getting confused
about it.
