Log message:
        + added function, which returns the interface places of a net
        * added checking for headers (take time during configure, but we're on 
the safe side)
        * normal "make" compiles with warnings, but without optimization
          "make release" "make binarydist" etc. compiles without warnings, but 
with optimization
