Landscape mode doesn't work

I am using the a2ps supplied with SuSE Linux and am having problems with
landscape mode not working. Whenever it is supposed to print in landscape
more, the output is not rotated. It does not reach the bottom of the page
and cuts off on the right hand side.

Portrait mode does seem to work, however.

I have a HP Laserjet 4 Plus (postscript version 2013.111). Whenever I attempt
to print in landscape the output appears as portrait. I do not see this
problem at work with the HP Laserjet 4SI and 5SI.

I have a duplex unit installed.
