I couldn't agree with Elias more, however......

I have been a life-long Unix/Linux lover.  However, most of my jobs have required Windows.  I could "play" with Linux at home, but if I wanted to develop something the company could use, it had to run on Windows, period.  Very, very sadly, Windows is the predominant platform.  (I know, more recently, this may be changing.)  To this point, and Richard's, I think having a pre-built, native (not Cygwin), Windows GNU-APL executable, along with a font and detailed instructions, could very significantly improve GNU-APL's appeal and use.

Actually, this is one of the reasons I found a company that created a reasonably prices custom keyboard, and created a keyboard layout specifically for GNU-APL.  This is the last peace anyone would need to use GNU-APL on any platform.
