I don’t know what the “-Wno-old-style-cast” does, but it did the trick! SVN 1140 now compiles without errors.

One other thing: Clang complains about file UserPreferences.cc, line 235: it has an empty body. To silence the warning, you have to move the semicolon to the next line…
