[Bug-AUCTeX] 11.82, can't find directory (gs); simple file worked

I send a bug report yesterday for a complicated file where it appeared
that preview somehow mixed up what temporary directory held the
preview .png files.  Here is a very simple sample file, THAT DID WORK
PROPERLY WITH PREVIEW.  Sorry I didn't send this yesterday as well.  I
guess there is some complicated interaction going on, although the
result seemed quite simple, preview wanted to look at one temporary
directory for the preview .png files and they were in another
temporary directory.

Here is the file that DOES work, but I guess that won't be much help.
Thanks for any suggestion you might have.  At least it looks like my 
installation is nominally OK.
