Meeting people in person can be an eye opener. Rarely to the worse,
though there can be some aggravation with roommates (mostly a resource
problem, when resources like hot water, rest, fresh air, peace and
others are not abundant), and it does not always help to be known to
be knowledgable about everything if you need some minutes to relax.

Back from EuroTeX, by the way.

Oh, by the way: at the ConTeXt user meeting I attended, I met Idris,
the showcase Arabic user who went from being the one non-developer
Omega user to Aleph user to LuaTeX user, usually abandoning ship after
the captains have already left. His current vessel looks like it is
going to stay afloat for longer, though. Anyway, he told me that he
had expected me to be quite older and less friendly. Interesting.

At some point of time, an AUCTeX developer meeting might be nice to
do, and a Scandinavian EuroTeX might help getting to know formerly
active contributors. Possibly Dante might consider sponsoring such a
thing if brought forth in the right way.
